We celebrate Credit Union Youth Month each April for all members 12 years and younger. Youth Month is designed to teach youth about smart money habits and saving to have a bright financial future.
* Youth Month is April 1-30 every year.
At M-O Federal Credit Union we take extra care to protect your personal and account information. To help you easily and securely dispose of your unwanted documents that contain confidential information we provide our members with a Shred Event. The shredded paper is recycled into products such as tissue paper and paper towels. For additional information please refer to our Shred Event Flyer.
* Our 2026 Shred Event will be held from April 16 – May 5th.
Our Annual Business Meeting is held in our lobby, typically some time within the month of June. The event consists of an election of volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors, along with milestone recognition for Board & Staff members. Scotty D’s BBQ food truck will be in our parking lot from 4-7pm. All members present the day of the Annual Meeting will receive a $10 food voucher to be used at Scotty D’s food truck!
* Our 75th Annual Business Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 4:00pm.
International Credit Union Day is celebrated annually on the third Thursday in October. However, we don’t think one day is enough to thank our members for their continued support, so we celebrate all week long! The idea started as a way to acknowledge both the credit unions’ important role in creating opportunities for their members and communities and the achievements of our members. Each year we take the opportunity to remind our current members why they belong to a credit union and show our appreciation for their membership!
