Credit Union Youth Month
We celebrate Credit Union Youth Month each April for all members 12 years and younger. Youth Month is designed to teach youth about smart money habits and saving to have a bright financial future.
* Youth Month is April 1-30 every year.
Shred Event
At M-O Federal Credit Union we take extra care to protect your personal and account information. To help you easily and securely dispose of your unwanted documents that contain confidential information we provide our members with a Shred Event. The shredded paper is recycled into products such as tissue paper and paper towels.
* Our 2024 Shred Event was held April 19-30, 2024.
Annual Business Meeting
For years, we have held an Annual Banquet in January, with the main purpose to hold our required Annual Meeting and elect the volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors. However, we decided to make some changes to this event and try something new. In 2024, we held a Double Celebration! Not only did we hold our 73rd Annual Business Meeting, but we also held a Retirement Open House for Deanna Decker. Popcorn, prizes and Scotty D's BBQ food truck were available that day too!
* Our 74th Annual Business Meeting will be held sometime in 2025.
Credit Union Week
International Credit Union Day is celebrated annually on the third Thursday in October. However, we don't think one day is enough to thank our members for their continued support, so we celebrate all week long! The idea started as a way to acknowledge both the credit unions' important role in creating opportunities for their members and communities and the achievements of our members. Each year we take the opportunity to remind our current members why they belong to a credit union and show our appreciation for their membership!
