M-O Federal Credit Union employees, joined by Dana Kleinsasser, Supervisory Committee Chairperson, enjoyed participating in Sertoma's 'Craze for a Cause' Spring fundraiser in April. This event, which is the Sertoma group’s second most significant fundraiser, enables them to contribute approximately $13,000 back to the community, specifically benefiting youth-focused organizations.

At M-O FCU, we believe in supporting our local community and are proud to have donated to a local Boy Scout troop through our jean week program. It's a great way for our staff to give back while also enjoying a more relaxed dress code.

The South Dakota Central Chapter of Credit Unions donated items to the Salvation Army Food Pantry. Items included not only food, but also personal hygiene items like soap, deodorant, body wash, etc. Over 325 items were collected to help stock their shelves.
M-O Federal Credit Union is proud to partner with other credit unions in the Central Chapter for this project!

The South Dakota Central Chapter of Credit Unions held a fundraiser to benefit the Heartland United Way's Backpack Program. The Backpack Program provides healthy weekend snack and food options for almost 600 students at 9 local schools each week. The funds helped purchase food items such as granola bars, fruit, macaroni & cheese, popcorn, fruit snacks, Ramen noodles, etc.
M-O Federal Credit Union is proud to partner with other credit unions in the Central Chapter to help this organization in a variety of ways.

M-O FCU staff made a $240 donation to the Beadle County Humane Society in Huron, SD.
Funds were raised in 2022 when staff gave a monetary donation to wear jeans on designated 'Jean Weeks'.

Staff members Jeanie King and Tiffanie Kouf had the opportunity to volunteer time at the April 'Feeding SD' food giveaway. They helped distribute the food, organize supplies and direct traffic.
They both agreed it was a very rewarding experience!
