In April, a Volunteer Appreciation Night was held honoring all of our volunteers; along with the volunteers of all the credit unions in the SD Central Chapter of Credit Unions. They were treated to a nice meal, fun games, lots of prizes, and some gifts too. Lots of laughs were shared by all. THANK YOU to all our volunteers for the dedication and time you commit to the success of M-O Federal Credit Union - you are appreciated!

April 14, 2023 was National Donate Life Blue & Green Day. It is a day to wear blue & green to raise awareness of registering as an organ, eye and tissue donor. Every M-O FCU staff member has somehow been touched by a donor or is a registered donor themselves.
In addition, some of the staff are regular blood donors as well!

On Saturday, January 28th M-O FCU held our 72nd Annual Meeting with a winter-themed Banquet.
Mike Burr completed his third term on the Board of Directors, and chose not to seek re-election. He was presented with a Roman Arch clock.

We participated in the 2022 Christmas Tree Exhibition organized by the Huron Area Arts Council and Huron Event Center. We were thrilled to learn we won the 1st Place award for 'Most Original Full-Size Tree'!

The Central Chapter of Credit Unions participated in a 'Ditch Walk' where they collected garbage from a 2-mile stretch of ditch south of Huron, SD.
Volunteers from M-O FCU were: Brian Decker, Deanna Decker, Tiffanie Kouf and Dustin Kouf.

Staff members were caught in action at the September 'Feeding South Dakota' food giveaway. Jeanie King had just delivered food to someone's vehicle. Tiffanie Kouf, along with Chamber employee Laura, were registering people to receive food.

On Tuesday, May 3rd M-O FCU hosted a free Shred Event to help members dispose of unwanted documents containing confidential information. The shredded papers were used to make recycled products! Among these items are paper towels and tissue paper.
